Next Steps

We think that Believers should always be growing in their faith. Wherever you are in life, whatever is going on, you will always have a next step to take as you grow. Here are some potential next steps:

Make a Fresh Start

fresh start
Making a fresh start means that we are receiving what Jesus has done for us and making Him Lord of our lives. God loved you and me so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross. The Bible teaches that through the cross we receive forgiveness from our sin and through His resurrection, we have new life and a new beginning – a fresh start.

Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” The word “saved” is a Bible word that simply means “to be pulled out.” Think of it like being rescued from a near-death situation. In the same way, when we make a Fresh Start, we’re rescued from an eternity spent in darkness and saved from a purposeless life on earth.

Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.

Read the Bible

10 minutes a day. You can spare that, right? Reading the Bible for just 10 minutes a day can change the rest of your days. It will bring you hope, encouragement, guidance, and practical advice on the every day issues you’re facing. The Bible is relevant to everyone, everywhere, at any time.

You can’t have a close relationship with someone you never talk to. It’s impossible. God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us. And it’s the absolute best way to discover how to follow Jesus on a daily basis. If you want to know more about God and His promises, reading the Bible is your next step.

 Growth Track
Growth Track is the on-ramp for getting involved at Life Point. This three week experience occurs every month and starts on the first Sunday of the month with Step 1 Connect. Connect is about the ministry and methods of Life Point and how to get plugged in.

The Dream Team

The Dream team  is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. These are the people who make Life Point work. As a young and growing church it takes a lot of people to pull off what we do each weekend. Your next step might be putting your gifts and passions to work on this amazing team.
